	Aims and Scope This journal is published and fully supported by The Japanese Society for Geographical Sciences (Chiri Kagaku Gakkai) . The Japanese Society for Geographical Sciences was established in 1961 at Hiroshima University. The journal’s aim is to advance the knowledge in geography and geographical education while promoting the field of geography in society. We welcome studies related to geography and geographical education including physical and human geography. Journal information Geographical Sciences (Chiri Kagaku) is an open-access (after one year), peer-reviewed academic journal. Anyone (members and nonmembers) can submit an article written in English. For the Japanese manuscript, only members of JSGS can submit an article written in Japanese. The editors of this journal accept original articles, short reports, review articles, forums, and symposium reports.
